Women's Goodwill Alliance

On May 18, former officers and members of the Women’s Goodwill Alliance, which had not been active since 2005, met at the home of Colleen Tuck to consider what to do with the remaining $738. in the treasury and whether or not to formally disband the Alliance. The consensus of the group was to continue the Alliance as a social and supportive group for all the women members of the church after a spirited discussion.
In addition, the group decided, rather than meeting monthly as before, to hold four meetings a year, at members’ homes and at the church (when possible) and to assist with memorial services for members of the church as it had done in the past.
Also, the group decided to retain the money on hand until the completion of the new building project and to then use it to purchase something of a decorative nature in memory of former members of the Alliance. Joyce Bramhall volunteered to serve as President and Jean Zaniewski as Vice-President; Colleen Tuck will remain as Treasurer.
