Religious Education at the Unitarian Church of Sharon

FALL

Nursery (Infant thru 3rd birthday)
Loving Care for All: Our care provider creates a warm, welcoming environment for very young children.

Preschool – Kindergarten - Grade 1
Chalice Children: What do I do in a Unitarian Universalist community? Playful experiences affirm each individual child and build a sense of belonging to a Unitarian Universalist community.

Grade 2 - Grade 3
Moral Tales: How can I tell what is right and true? What would Love do? Moral Tales uses stories from diverse religious traditions to provide children with spiritual and ethical tools to make choices and take actions that reflect their Unitarian Unversalist beliefs and values.

Grade 4 - Grade 5
Toolbox of Faith invites children to reflect on qualities of our Unitarian Universalist faith, such as resiliency, courage and justice, as tools they can use in living their lives and building their own faith. How is our faith like a flashlight? Come and find out!

Junior Youth (Grades 6,7,8)
Compass Points Where will my faith journey take me? Compass Points offers a wide variety of activities to encourage young adolescents to sort out their feelings about themselves and their world, to discover what they believe about life’s big questions, and consider how our religious forebears searched for answers to those questions.
