Year 1: Our Whole Lives (Grades 7-8)
Year 2: Coming of Age (Grades 8-9)
OWL is offered every other year. Some youth start the cycle as 7th graders and some as 8th graders – depending on when OWL is offered. (Read more about OWL)
Junior Youth occasionally join the congregation in worship to amplify central themes in the overall curriculum (e.g. credo, youth leadership)
Special Programming for Seventh and/or Eighth Grade Youth:
Junior Youth Fellowship Group (Grades 6-8) – Monthly on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons.
Revels – Sunday mornings, November 3 – December 15, 2019.
Religious Education Sunday – Sunday April 5, 2020.
Credo Service –A Sunday morning in winter or very early spring.
Youth-led worship –Typically held on a Sunday morning during the spring.
Coming of Age Worship Service –Next held in May 2020.
Coming of Age (Grades 8-9) – generally first and third Tuesday evenings, October 2019-May 2020.
Children’s Choir – The Children’s Choir is for any child who wants to play and sing and occasionally perform during the Sunday service. We meet on Tuesday evenings 5:30-6:30 in the fellowship hall downstairs. Forbesy Russell leads with her guitar. There is cheese pizza to begin, warmup and singing and a little candy treat at the end. We sing upstairs for services about once a month. All children are welcome! Give Forbesy a call or text at 781.201.9533. We follow the school vacation schedule.
