Grades 7-8 Curriculum

Our Whole Lives for Grades 7-8

Our Whole Lives encourages young people to make decisions that respect themselves and others by strengthening their self-esteem and capacity for empathy and by providing accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date information about human sexuality, reproduction, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

This year-long course for early adolescents meets on 26 Sunday mornings between September 2018 and June 2019.  Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 10 am to 11:30 am. The program starts at the same time as the family worship service.

In order for youth to participate in Our Whole Lives, parents MUST attend the OWL Parent Orientation, which will be held on Sunday, September 16 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.

Revels rehearsal: Sunday, December 2, after coffee hour

Revels baking, rehearsal, and worship service:  Sunday, December 9, 8:15 am – 11:30 am
