Rev. Gary Strichartz is a Chaplain at Millford Regional Medical Center and a UU minister. He brings to his chaplaincy more than 30 years of experience as a researcher and professor of the science of pain.

Tuesday Evenings: April 16, 23, 30, May 7. 7 – 8:30 PM, in Program A/B (large downstairs classroom at UCS)

Description: Dying and death are uncomfortable topics, and people avoid talking about them. To anyone, including friends, family members, clergy, even their spouses. Through the four sessions of this workshop we hope to relieve some of the anxiety about dying and death, to provide some helpful information, both practical and spiritual, and to encourage people to begin a conversation on these topics with their loved ones.  Our hope is to make these subjects less frightening and anxiety provoking, and thereby to help people live their lives to the fullest, right up to the end.
