Painful Realism and Gratitude

Preacher: Beth Hoke, Reverend Jim Robinson, Tom Davanso

Gratitude is one of the most important and effective spiritual practices. Without an active practice of gratitude, our life is pulled down into a morass of worry and negativity. But when gratitude stays at the center of our life, then we experience joy for the gift of life and the suffering we must encounter can be transformed into compassion.

Beth Hoke and Tom D’Avanso share their experiences and thoughts on gratitude and Reverend Robinson concludes by talking about managing the painful realism that we must deal with in our lives through practicing gratitude.
